Alabama State Law-non NMLS Course
Fair Lending: Learn the correct way to take an application. See what the laws call an application. Review the proper procedures, ECOA and what you can and cannot ask a potential borrower. Fraud/Quality Control: Quality Control and Fraud education provides the mortgage industry professionals with a basic set of skills and knowledge to identify fraud, what to do to prevent it and establish a quality control program that will protect the company and the individual from unsuspecting fraud schemes. Reverse Mortgage: The goal of this course is to increase awareness and access to Reverse Mortgage Loans which address the present and growing needs of senior-ages homeowners 62 years of age and older. Reverse Mortgage education provides the mortgage industry professionals with a basic set of skills and knowledge for those seeking to develop a market and originate reverse mortgage loans. (Please bring a financial calculator to this class.) Alabama State Law: This is a non-NMLS approved course to provide the Alabama mortgage professional the knowledge to pass the Alabama State Law test required by December 31st, 2010 for licensing renewal.
The 3 SAFE Courses will fulfill your 8 Hour CE requirement for licensing renewal. Fair Lending meets 4 hours of CE federal mortgage law credit, Fraud/Quality Control meets 2 hours of CE Ethics Credit and Reverse Mortgage meets 2 hours of CE non-traditional mortgage credit. (Once these courses are completed your CE hours will be uploaded to the NMLS system within 7 days, be sure that your correct NMLS ID number is listed below so that your hours can properly be submitted

Cost:
$50 for paid 2010 AMBA Member w/8 hours of education included in dues
$130 for paid 2010 AMBA Member w/20 hours of education in dues and took the 20 hour pre-licensing course through AMBA. (You are now taking 8 additional hours.)
$175 for AMBA Non-Member LO’s whose broker/owner is an AMBA professional member.
$250 for AMBA Non-Members
Additional cost if you are taking the Alabama State Law Course starting at 5:00:
